Hello you! Thanks for stopping by! I’m really glad you’re here!
If you ever wanted to know who the person behind all these blog posts is, then hello *waves awkwardly*, you found me.
I was originally born in London which is where I spent the next 6 years of my life until we upped and moved to a quaint little village called Dalmeny which is just outside of Edinburgh in Scotland. I was there for a while until my Dad was an absolute asshat to put it lightly and we moved High Mill which is another part of Scotland for a transition period before heading to our next home in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
After a couple of years of trying to become the perfect Welsh gal, Mum decided enough was enough and that it was time to move us back home to London.
I managed to stay put in England right up until I was 18 and fancied a change of scene for University. Next stop for me was to head to Cornwall for a couple of years to enjoy living by the sea and being able to eat ALL the pasties and drink ALL the cider.
Post Uni found me doing my very best to settle into real life back just outside of London, working and trying to do the adult thing. But it wasn’t long before I packed my bags, booked a one way flight and set out to Spain with very little idea of what I was going to do. Luckily I landed on my feet with an Aupair and teaching job and spent the next year or so moving all over the Country and teaching English.
And then whoops, I still wasn’t quite ready to go home yet, so I might have gone to Italy to do the same thing.
Those few years were glorious.
Fast forward to now and you will find me sipping on my tea and wearing my fluffy socks in bed just outside of London where I am living and working full time at the moment. It’s a pretty scary and difficult decision for me to try and stay put in one place, which I’m sure you can understand after having read my History of jumping all around the place… which is probably what inspired this travel blog.
I’m a bit of a weekend wanderer at the moment as I’m working full time in a company and travel as much as I possibly can.
So follow me on my boozy, cheap adventures around Europe and even beyond!
